Introduction
Wire thread inserts are incorporated into softer metallic materials to give them steel-like thread performance. This has enabled industries to use lighter weight materials such as aluminum without having to give up thread strength of their fasteners.
Material classification
A. Cr-Ni stainless steel material: through the combination of strength and material, it is used under normal circumstances, and is used under mild structure, aluminum alloy structure, sea water, chlorine-containing liquid, and increased corrosion resistance.
B. Copper alloy material: used when copper is required or when the threaded connection is frequently adjusted; used when it is required to be used for electrical conductivity or self-lubricating.
C. High-temperature alloy materials: heat-resistant use when the temperature is 500-750℃; for aerospace assembly technology, aircraft engines, and internal combustion engine turbo compressors when operating within 750℃.
Advantage
1. Increase the bearing surface. It is used for parts that require a strong connection force and cannot increase the diameter of the screw hole.
2. Anti-loosening. It is especially used in occasions where products such as spacecraft require a high insurance factor.
3. Easy to maintain. Install the damaged screw hole into the steel wire screw sleeve and continue to use it after repairing to avoid the possibility of damage to the work piece.
